Role Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to lead our cloud infrastructure journey. You’ll ensure system reliability, drive improvements across legacy and modern systems, and work with architecture teams to enable reliable delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Drive automation initiatives and construct robust CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Rundeck
Implement Infrastructure as Code solutions with Terraform and CloudFormation
Design and architect scalable AWS systems handling high traffic volumes
Optimize resource utilization to enhance performance and reduce costs
Refine processes, tools, and workflows for improved efficiency
Plan capacity to support business growth and uphold system reliability
Establish monitoring systems adhering to SLIs/SLOs to meet SLA requirements
Create proactive alerting mechanisms to prevent incidents
Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure spending strategically
Develop disaster recovery and redundancy strategies for system resilience
Manage incident response, perform root cause analysis, and prevent future occurrences
Foster collaboration with development teams on reliable system design
Mentor other teams and cultivate a reliability-focused culture
Maintain comprehensive documentation and deployment playbooks

Required Expertise

Proven experience in SRE delivery with a track record in reliability-focused engineering
Extensive knowledge of AWS cloud architecture and services
Hands-on Terraform/IaC development experience with CloudFormation
Deep understanding of monitoring tools including Grafana, Prometheus, and CloudWatch
CI/CD expertise with GitLab, Rundeck, and Jenkins
Strong grasp of security principles, networking, and compliance frameworks
Evidence of scaling high-volume systems
Collaborative mindset with a security-first approach
Excellent communication abilities and a commitment to team success

Desirable Skills

PCI DSS v4 compliance expertise
AWS certified professional credentials
Experience with container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Docker)
