Role Purpose
We are seeking a Contracts Counsel to assist and support our growing Research & Development organization. This role involves negotiating and managing clinical and research-related agreements crucial to our innovation pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review and negotiate diverse clinical research agreements (CTAs, ICFs, CDAs, collaboration agreements)
- Advise stakeholders on legal terms, risk mitigation and compliance (GCP, FDA, etc.)
- Collaborate with Clinical Operations and R&D on vendor relationships
- Provide practical legal guidance throughout the contracting lifecycle
- Develop and refine contract templates, policies and procedures
Qualifications
- J.D. from accredited US law school, admitted to practice in US jurisdiction
- 4-6 years experience, preferably in clinical contracting with emphasis on biotech/pharma
- Direct experience supporting Clinical Operations, R&D or Regulatory Affairs teams
- Profound knowledge of clinical research regulations (GCP, FDA, GDPR, HIPAA)
- Exceptional negotiation, drafting and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
- Collaborative approach with focus on practical solutions

✅ Qualifications
- Juris Doctor degree from a recognized US law school
- Admission to the legal practice in at least one US jurisdiction
- Minimum 4 years, up to 6 years of relevant legal background
- Significant experience in clinical contracting within pharma or biotech industries
- Proven track record supporting Clinical Operations, R&D or Regulatory Affairs teams
- Demonstrated expertise in clinical research regulations including GCP standards
- Outstanding writing, communication and negotiation capabilities
- Experience managing complex projects in a high-pressure environment
- Collaborative mindset focused on practical legal solutions
