The Role

As a Deployment Engineer at Atolio, you’ll serve as a crucial link between engineering and customer success. Your primary responsibility is guaranteeing seamless, secure, and efficient deployment of our enterprise search platform. You’ll own the complete deployment lifecycle, from infrastructure setup through configuration, integration, and monitoring.

Your contributions will directly impact customer adoption and satisfaction by ensuring Atolio’s platform rolls out predictably and reliably in all environments.

Responsibilities

• Guide and direct customer deployments in cloud-native and hybrid environments
• Design, develop, and deploy robust deployment processes focused on scalability, security, and reliability
• Integrate Atolio with enterprise systems like document repositories, ticketing, and code management platforms
• Collaborate with backend engineers to enhance deployment pipelines and system performance
• Develop automation scripts and tooling to streamline operations and eliminate manual tasks
• Collaborate with customers to troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues
• Maintain comprehensive deployment documentation and advocate best practices

Requirements

Proven experience with:

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, deployment engineering, or infrastructure automation
• Significant cloud expertise (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Containerization mastery, especially Kubernetes
• CI/CD pipeline and infrastructure-as-code proficiency (Terraform/Helm)
• Knowledge of secure networking, identity management (SAML/OIDC), and API integrations
• Familiarity with enterprise systems (Okta, ServiceNow, SharePoint, Salesforce)
• Observability tools (Grafana/Splunk/Datadog)
• Programming skills in Go, Python, or similar language
• Excellent troubleshooting abilities and empathetic customer communication skills
• Automation-focused mindset with emphasis on repeatability and scalability

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Deployment, DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering roles
• Proven experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Senior-level knowledge of containerization, especially Kubernetes
• Expertise in CI/CD pipeline design, implementation, and management
• Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform and Helm
• Understanding of secure networking and identity management principles (SAML, OIDC)
• Knowledge of API integrations and their implementation
• Familiarity with specific enterprise applications (Okta, ServiceNow, Salesforce, SharePoint)
