Role Overview
Insight Assurance is a rapidly growing cybersecurity compliance firm, a Florida CPA, PCI QSA, and ISO 27001 Body. Founded by former EY professionals, we partner with clients ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies on compliance engagements.
Responsibilities and Tasks
- Oversee day-to-day accounts receivable and expense management
- Coordinate accounting operations ensuring accurate transaction posting in QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements following U.S. GAAP and management reporting
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting
- Maintain compliance with internal policies and external regulations
- Prepare schedules for audits, tax filings, and financial reviews
- Collaborate on process improvements and automation
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to finance team growth
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years experience with QuickBooks Online
- Background in professional services environment
- Full professional fluency in English (written and verbal)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting software
