📝 Job Description

Role Overview

As a Supply Chain Analyst in our Forecasting team, you’ll leverage data-driven insights to optimize outbound operations and support merchant growth within ShipBob’s expanding fulfillment network. Play a key role in refining our prediction models and ensuring operational sustainability across diverse time zones.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily and weekly forecasts in platforms like Excel, PowerBI, and Salesforce, aligning with outbound order planning and merchant volume tracking.
• Collaborate with Operations and merchant leaders to provide strategic inputs on capacity and risk mitigation.
• Liaise on inventory, promotions, and sales impacts to ensure accurate forecast communication to supply chain teams.
• Enhance forecasting accuracy by identifying process failures and contributing model improvements.
• Support model maintenance, offer expertise sharings and assist in scaling forecasts for new merchants and sites.

Required Skills & Tools

• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel, and analytics tools for robust data validation and modeling.
• Proven capability in qualitative research, problem-solving and proactive stakeholder engagement.
• Experience in e-commerce fulfillment operations with a focus on supply chain optimization; willingness to learn new platforms like WMS.
• Demonstrated innovation, adaptability and commitment to a high-performance, collaborative environment.

✅ Qualifications

• 3+ years in supply chain or e-commerce fulfillment operations.
• Intermediate to advanced SQL and Excel skills, with experience in PowerBI.
• Proven ability in data modeling and process improvement.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally to solve complex operational challenges.
• Comfort with rapid learning in technology platforms like WMS systems.
