In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of the AI revolution, working directly with Research Scientists and Data Scientists to train, adapt, optimize, and deploy state-of-the-art LLMs for Predictive AI, Generative AI, and the next frontier: Agentic AI applications.

Your Mission: Deploy AI that Makes a Difference

As a Senior AI Engineer, you will be instrumental in enhancing this capability by building and integrating advanced AI models that understand the world through multiple lenses.

You will tackle some of the most complex challenges in AI today, including:

• Multimodal AI: Developing models that fuse and interpret data from text, images, video, audio, and sensors across 150+ languages.

• Agentic AI: Building and deploying autonomous “Intel Agents” that generate critical, real-time context on global events and threats.

• Regenerative AI (ReGenAI): Working on our proprietary generative AI technology that automatically updates Live Event Briefs as situations unfold in real-time.

This US-based role offers the flexibility to work remotely or from our New York City office, allowing you to do your best work from wherever you are most productive.

Key Responsibilities: Where Your Expertise Drives Innovation

In this hands-on role, you will own significant parts of our AI infrastructure and model lifecycle. Your core responsibilities will include:

• End-to-End LLM Deployment: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build, adapt, and deploy robust LLM models into production, ensuring they perform reliably at a very large scale.

• Architect Robust AI Systems: Take ownership of the technical design and implementation of API services, libraries, and containerization strategies that form the backbone of our LLMOps lifecycle.

• Performance Optimization: Expertly optimize deep learning and LLM training and inference pipelines for maximum speed and cost-efficiency on specialized hardware.

• Full-Lifecycle Problem Solving: Drive complex AI projects from initial research and literature review through to hands-on data exploration, implementation of novel methods, and successful product integration.

What You Bring: Skills and Qualifications

• Education & Experience: An M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience, coupled with 5+ years as a Research or Machine Learning Engineer.

• Deep Technical Proficiency in MLOps/LLMOps: Proven experience in building, optimizing, and deploying Deep Learning models using PyTorch. We’re looking for someone who has hands-on experience with the architecture of Transformers and LLMs, not just experience consuming APIs.

• Research-to-Production Mindset: A demonstrated ability to work alongside Research Scientists, digest technical papers, and implement state-of-the-art methods in NLP, Computer Vision, Knowledge Representation, Vector Databases, and Generative AI.

• Software Engineering Excellence: Expertise in Python and experience with modern development and deployment tools is crucial. This includes Containers, Kubernetes, AWS, Databricks, and Agentic infrastructure like LangGraph, LangFuse, and vector stores.

The expected annual base salary range for this position is $154,800 – $227,500. This role also includes eligibility for a discretionary bonus and company equity, with the final offer based on factors such as geographic location, skills, and relevant experience.
