Role Overview
We seek a skilled Senior Staff Accountant to manage financial operations, tax compliance, and reporting for our APAC operations. The role demands meticulous attention to detail and expertise in accounting principles while supporting the company’s financial well-being.
Responsibilities
Compliance & Accounting Operations
- Oversee local regulatory compliance in the APAC region (primarily India)
- Prepare and submit accurate tax returns (income tax, GST)
- Handle government filings and coordinate with tax consultants
- Collaborate with external auditors for statutory audits
Financial Management
- Maintain financial records through day-to-day accounting tasks
- Prepare timely financial reports including monthly/quarterly/annual statements
- Conduct financial analysis, identify trends, and recommend improvements
Process & Controls Improvement
- Develop and implement internal controls for financial integrity
- Act as liaison with government authorities and stakeholders
- Revise and optimize accounting procedures for efficiency and automation
Requirements & Preferences
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field required
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience necessary
- Exceptional Excel proficiency with Power Query/Bi preferred
- Mandatory skills: Broad accounting principles, financial analysis & forecasting
- Excellent communication abilities (written and verbal)

✅ Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong aptitude for mathematics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced computer literacy (especially in Microsoft Excel)
- Power Query and Power BI skills considered an advantage
- Sound understanding of accounting principles
- Experience with financial analysis and forecasting
- Comfort and ability to communicate professionally via various channels (email, phone, in-person)
- Proactive, energetic approach with strong problem-solving skills
