The Global Education Monitoring (GEM) Report is the world’s most influential publication on education. Mandated by 160 nations, it tracks progress towards Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4).
For the 2026 production cycle, the GEM Report team is seeking Junior Research Consultants to support the drafting, data verification, and background research for upcoming thematic chapters.
This is a rare entry-level opportunity for PhD students, recent Master’s graduates, and early-career academics to contribute to a flagship UN publication from the comfort of their own home office.
